Hi, I'm Ameya (uh-may-yuh). I'm 24, born and raised in Mumbai. A little over two years ago, I moved to the States to pursue a master's in computer science - and I did it! graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst earlier this year. Go Minutemen!

I now live in New Jersey and work at IntellectAI where I build applied AI and full-stack solutions for commerical insurance workflows. My work tends to sit at the intersection of machine learning, backend engineering, and making complex systems feel simple :)

ELAPSE Efficient and Knowledge-Augmented Approaches for Salient Entity Linking at Scale. A system to detect and link salient entities in web articles. This is an ongoing independent research project we're developing in collaboration with Apple. The direction is still evolving, and it may look completely different a few months from now but that’s the fun part :) 2025All Things You One stop curation for all things you. I also write; mostly reflections and my musings. I curate far too many playlists, and play football(soccer) whenever I get the chance! You can see the posters I currently have up on my wall. I absolutely love going to concerts and have a growing list of concerts I want to go to. I think and watch a lot of football (soccer); the sport and the data reshaping it.
